hi, what is the relation between ES and SES. 10 consecutive ES = to UAS(unavaillable seconds), how about ses.
what is the allowable ES, SES and AIS per day.My link have 19 ES and 2 SES but no AIS,UAS, LOF and sync. is this acceptable.

SES=ES/Total time
If in a given time 30% of the block are errored Block than that second is called SES.
If in a given time less than 30% of the blocka are errored blocks than that secod is called ES.

You can use the error blocks method or the Es method
There are limits for the ES but it depends on the grade of your link, the no. of hops and the average hop distance.

Assuming Access Networks with 32km distance,capacity 16x2Mbit/s
ESR = .075*C
where C range .075 to .085
ESR=.075*.075 = 5.635E-3 (equivalent to 14580 ES/month)
How about perday, shall I devide ES to 30days?
ES=14580/30= 486 ES/day

yes right...

as 5.635E-3*60*60*24 also results in 468.86.. so yes it seems right.
