ASTER GDEM Ver. 2 Validation Summary Report
Pathloss 5 instructions
Unzip the downloaded files.
Select Configure from the main menu, and click Set GIS Configuration. Select Primary or Secondary DEM. From the drop down list on the right select BIL Geographic DEM. Click the File Index button, Select Files - Import Index - ASTER Geo Tiff files.
Select only the files with DEM in the name. Do not select file with NUM in the name. The ASTER data is ready to use.

Unzip the downloaded files.
Select Configure from the main menu, and click Terrain Database. Select SRTM-ASTER in either the Primary or Secondary drop down list. Click the Setup Primary/Secondary button, Select Files - bil, SRTM hgt, ASTER tif. Select the files and click Open.
Select only the files with DEM in the name. Do not select file with NUM in the name. The ASTER data is ready to use.
